There is no judgement or shame brought to the process. No one likes to be told to throw out all their stuff. Embark Organizing will work with you using their professional organizer knowledge and your situation to find a way to keep you in charge of the things in your life.
Rebecca Hill-Larsen of Embark Organizing is moving forward by looking back. When researching what her second career should be, she recalled childhood memories. One of her oldest organizing memories was of helping her Gramma Hetty, who loved to shop the makeup counters for “free gifts”, organize her closet. She remembers little bags and boxes full of samples which became neat rows of products easy to find for her grandmother to actually find and use. Rebecca and her family made three cross country moves, living in five states before her children were out of elementary school. This involved a lot of self more organizing and downsizing to save money on moves based on weight. She still likes to “pretend” the family is moving when she is organizing her home. Rebecca has taken business classes at WREN, the Women’s Rural Entrepreneurial Network, through NAPO, the National Association for Organizing and Productivity professionals and Organizing U. She really gets excited to see the “eureka” moments her clients have while learning organizing skills.
